Mid 2012 MacBook Pro Renovation RAM and SSD

Hi guys,

My computer currently has only 4 GB of memory and is really slowing down when I work in Photoshop for over half an hour. I have decided to upgrade the memory to 16 GB and perhaps replace the hard drive with SSD. As for the RAM, I have two options that match the specs for my comp from apple's website, anyone know it they're any good?

If you used Crucial's ram tool to identify the correct ram...then there's nothing wrong with Cruical ram...we recommend Crucial ram all the time.

You can also consider ram from OWC (macsales.com). Another great supplier of Mac products.

I bought the crucial kit you mentioned for my own 2012 MBP. Works perfectly and made a HUGE difference!

As for SSDs. The 840 EVO series has been well-reviewed, though of course there are now faster SSDs from Samsung and others. For a 2012 I'd suggest either the 840 EVO or the OWC or the Crucial equivalents.

yea I'm with them crucial backs all there stuff the stock ram can't cut it
