Part from Apple Mail’s inbox and sent box. I don’t knowingly backup to iCloud. I’ve moved stuff from the inbox and sent box to Mac mailboxes but seem still to be getting these messages. It is possible that there is a delay in their removal to my Mac mailboxes. Is their another possibility?

Have you looked at iCloud Drive, or gone to iCloud to see what is there? Until you know what is there you don't know what to stop.
