Menu bar on macbook too wide for screen

Hi,

My menu bar at top of screen is too wide, (my daughter has been playing with the computer!) and now I can't see the apple icon on far left at the same time as the date, time and search icons on the far right.

Is there a simple solution for putting back the previous settings for this?

Check your zoom settings in System Prefs.
Can try holding down Control and scrolling mouse wheel too (does zoom).
