I have a new MBP and time capsule as my wireless router. At times when surfing the net, the MBP just "hangs" when trying to download a webpage, sometimes it is very fast and no problems. I spoke to Apple and they said to "reset Safari" which I did and then restart laptop, this solves the problem temporarily, and then it is back to what is described above. Seems to me like it is a time capsule router issue? I have excellent range and signal, any suggestions?

tsturbo,

What router were you using prior to Time Capsule? You could put it back in your loop and see if your connections and speeds work well without TC - if it does, then I would think that proves a problem with TC and I'd call Apple back, explain and ask for an exchange. They should acknowledge a problem if you're persistent. They should at least check it out for you.

You could try it out with Firefox and see f there's a difference with it...

Possibly not quite the same issue, however:

I had good connection between my MBP and Time Capsule, until we bought a 2nd wireless client (either my wife's MBP or my Windows XP work laptop) onto the network, then my MBP would grind to a halt on the wireless connection.

I have just downgraded the firmware on the Time Capsule from 7.3.2 to 7.3

Initial tests are encouraging and the connection appears solid.
