I made the mistake of upgrading to Yosemite after running Mavericks without any real issues on both my Mac Pro early 2009 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 16GB RAM a,d my MacBook Pro 17" mid 2009 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 8 GB RAM. I have had nothing but hangups, crashes, headaches, anxiety and everything thing in between since I made this fatal mistake. I do photography as a side job and have had delays in completing jobs for several customers. I need help!, is reverting to Mavericks my easiest solution, or do I have another recourse?

You can easily revert back to Mavericks if you made a Time Machine backup prior to upgrading. As far as solutions go, can't help you there. No problem upgrading to Yosemite for me and many others in our forums. If your business depends on the use of your Mac, it would have been wise to test Yosemite by installing it first on a bootable external drive before installing it on both your Macs.
