Mars stimulator

hello im having problem with my Mac where I download mars stimulator (MIPS) and trying to run problem but it still says assemble but it just doesn't let my problem run and give me solution even though if my coding is correct. pls help me resolve this situation .

in the mars mips when I try to run > assemble > go but it doesn't let me do the GO part to actually run my problem so that I can get my answer, it always shows that I've error in my coding but when another person try same coding in the different laptop it let run and had answer. It happen with all of my problem so it's definitely something is wrong with my Mac

What problem/coding are you talking about? Provide an example.

Have you tried the same program and input on another Windows or Mac and it works? If not, the computer has nothing to do with it.

Have you tried to find a forum that specifically addresses this application? You're not going to get a lot of help in these forums for niche apps that most of us don't use.

Thank you for the extra info. This is a MIPS assembly simulator and you are doing homework. A good skill that will help you is for you to figure out how to solve it. Speak to your TA or classmates or professor if you are stuck.

she did and I tried downloading software again just incase and its still same still giving me errors.

The issue is with your program/code/homework and not necessarily the app or Mac since that wouldn't have anything to do with it.

There are very few programmers on here, I on the other hand am one and know what the code is doing, but won't be helping you solve the problem with your code.

What I will tell you is that you should reduce your code to the bare minimum to ensure that the app is able to handle that safely, then add instructions one at a time to see where the issue is.

I hate to repeat myself, but part of learning to program is to learning how to debug your issues.

But if the issue with the application itself, which seems to be a Java application, show the full error on the bottom there and perhaps we can help.
