making music

Anyone make music on their mac?
I have an G3 iBook and really want to make music... what programmes are best?

I only know of OSX apps
Apple Soundtrack, if your computer can run it.
SoundStudio
iMovie can even help record/put together
Adobe Premiere

all of which can be found on versiontracker.com
