Make Lion bootable disk

I purchased and installed Lion about 2 weeks ago. Now, i think I should have a bootable disk in case something goes wrong and I have to start from a disk.

I found an article on how to make a Lion bootable disk but the article says that I should find "Install Mac OS X Lion.app" in my app folder, but I have searched my hard drive & that app folder & I cannot find "Install Mac OS X Lion.app"

Why can't I find it & should I look somewhere else on my hard drive?

Any ideas?

OK, I may have found my own answer, ha.

Apparently Lion is automatically deleted after it is installed......yuck, but here is a good fix that I found over at MacRumors:

Launch the App Store
While holding down the OPTION key, click on the “Purchases” section
You should see “OS X Lion” and “Install” should now be gray and you can click that to re-download Lion (you may have to re-authenticate within the App Store with your Apple ID).

after reading the entire thread that "solution" looks filled with issues:

It's not complicated. Post #9 in that thread you linked to is the correct way to re-download Lion. Once it has been re-downloaded, you should be able to locate it in your Applications folder and from that create a bootable disk. Then, just follow the instructions as given here in the MacWorld article.

Make sure you test the disk you created.
