Hi All,
I am setting up Mail on a new MacBook Air with MacOS Sequoia 15.4. I added two e-mail accounts from WowwWay.com (our ISP), a couple G-Mail, one SBCGlobal.net and one iCloud. All except one are working fine. (Mixed POP3 and IMAP addresses)

On one from WowWay, only yesterday's and today's e-mails appear in the Inbox. It is a POP3 account. Also note that on my other computer and my wife's iPad, all the messages that are in the server's web interface mail are on those devices. Only on the new computer they are not there. The Sent and Trash aren't on the new computer either.

I tried deleting the account, restarting the computer and re-adding the account. Then I restarted again. I checked every setting I could find to ensure that nothing was checked to stop messages from being downloaded. I did routine this twice.

I turned off the new sorting feature in mail and restarted the computer. No luck was to be had.

I signed into the ISP on the web and ensured that the messages are in the Inbox on the server. They are there.
I asked the ISP. The reply was that it was an Apple Mail problem & that they have no prohibition stopping messages from going to the new account.

Do you all have any idea how I can fix this and get the other e-mails back in the Inbox on the Apple?

ThankYou for helping me and for all the other help you've given me with this set up of the new computer!
Paul
PS: We keep that account as POP3 so my wife and I can individually delete as desired from our e-mail clients and not interfere with the other person's inbox.

That type of issue is from the server side.I learned that along time ago when I was still using winOS. They have a setting which allows how long mail can be synced.

Edit: Ask your email provider where the settings are to get all mail synced to your devices.

Thank You Bob. I appreciate your help.
It's kind of odd that one address from them downloaded back several years & one is problematic.
I'll call the provider back & ask if they can make both accounts have the same settings.

UPDATE-
A new glitch: On the ISP web interface for mail, they are missing a large group of e-mails in between the newest and the earliest.

I called the provider again, as Bob suggested. Someone tried and sent me to the next level. That person tried and sent me to the next level. That person tried and sent me to a specialist.

The specialist tried several things on her end. She gave up. She will send it to the next level technical support. Supposedly they will fix the problem in 3 days.
