This article makes no mention of 13.0.7 and I have not seen a notification for it in Software Update.

I did a screen shot of the 13.0.7 update as it appeared on my MBP in this post on MF.

The exact same thing occured when Ventura became available. In "Other Updates" there was an update listed in the same manner which being a bit literal I applied prior to the upgrade.
It's probably unnecessary, a bit like a recent thread about upgrading from El Capitan to Mojave. Should one upgrade to High Sierra first? I would, but that's just me.🙄

PapaRed1, on my MBP the widgets seem to go to top left by default although I can drag them elsewhere. I think you are either in the wrong menu or as Jake suggests you are not running Sonoma. As said, check the Apple menu > About this Mac.

I can now confirm this. I look after an elderly gentleman as regards his Mac and iDevices. He was in hospital recently so we were late in updating macOS Ventura.

When I started the update process, it did offer 13.0.7 right at the bottom of the options. I decided we better do that first, so I clicked on it and it automatically went on to finish the update.

And yet, when looking at Apple > About this Mac, it still shows Ventura 13.0.6

It's only this Forum which made me think about this again. My guess, and that's all it can be, is that 13.0.7 was offered as a step before Upgrading to Sonoma.

As we didn't Upgrade, but stayed with Ventura, it wasn't needed.

Ok, I give up. I have 13.6 and I'm sticking with it. I see no mention of 13.0.7 in the linked screenshot, but I do see 13.6 there. I'm going to assume that my Ventura is up to date.

It is up to date.

As I see things, I think that the 13.0.7 was an option if one was upgrading to Sonoma; but of no interest if one was sticking with Ventura.

When I look at Software Update Available, I am presented with the opportunity to install 13.7 and the "other updates" link at the bottom only gives me the chance to upgrade Safari. I presume that would happen anyway if I installed Sonoma. Going up to the precipice of installing 13.7 I am not presented with an option for 13.0.7 the mysterious update.

I the zero may be superfluous. 13.7, 13.0.7 much the same and I may have got that wrong. No biggie and it could be device specific.
The point I was trying to make is that I think it's a good idea to apply any pending updates prior to a major upgrade and even that is a personal opinion but it certainly does no harm.

Game Mode Works! I have been playing a couple of App Store games that run natively on my 14" M1 MBP, Borderlands 2 in particular and I think I can confidently say the game runs better than it used to on the same device with the CPU and GPU prioritised in this new feature.
