Hi.
I've attached the issue with my screen below:

I closed the lid on my MacBook Pro and when I opened it back up, this was covering the screen. As I move the screen around, sometimes the whole thing will go completely black except the highlighted spot, the other stuff on the screen is also quite blurry. What do you think the problem is? I've booked it in at the genius bar to get some advice. Do you think the whole screen may need replacing? What do you expect the cost to be if so? This is the Late 2016 15 inch MacBook pro with touchbar. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to our forums.

The genius bars around the country are very busy this time of year, hopefully your appointment is soon. After viewing your screen picture, it would appear that either a video cable is loose or there is a problem with the graphics chipset. I doubt the display itself is defective. If your MacBook Pro is still under warranty (Apple Care) the genius bar will repair it free of charge. If not under warranty, they may do the repair anyway for free. Be nice to them. ;)
