Hi all,

My MacBook Pro is stuck in the Dashboard.

I can't return to finder with either the ESC button or the arrow at the bottom right of the screen.

Through CMD and TAB I can't return to Finder either. A manual force quit doesn't work or draining the battery doesn't work (it just returns to the same stuck screen). Simply turning the computer off or restarting with the on/off button doesn't work either because I have unsaved changes in a Word document that the program asks me to save or not. But, the problem is I can't select which I want since the program disappeared in the background of Dashboard. For this reason I can't use the on/off button because Mac tells me that Word needs to be saved manually or not. Simply selecting Word through CMD and TAB or force quitting the program doesn't help either.

I'm complety stuck in limbo and don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Never mind. Got it with holding down the on and off button for more than 5 seconds. Annoying problem though.

Moderators, could you please delete this thread? Thanks.
