I got MacBook Pro 2012 with Samsung Eco 850
ddr3 1600 pc3-12800 and I got a ELPIDA 2gb 1Rx8 PC3-12800-11-10-B2

I work find on Mac 10.9 10.10.5 and when I upgrade to Mac 10.11.6 after I download Xcode I shutdown my MacBook Pro and try to boot back up take forever sometime and just boot up after I owed it up.

I not sure the ram that came with the MacBook Pro is doing this or what. I want to make sure before I mbuy some more ram.

If everything was working before and nothing has changed with RAM etc., installing Xcode sure shouldn't cause any boot problem.

Try booting from the Recovery HD using command+R at boot time and then run Disk Utility and see if it can fix of see if anything is wrong.

There are other threads here about Samsung ECO and EVO disks not behaving well with Macs. Also Macs are very fussy about memory and must use low density modukes, not cheaper high density used in most PCs. Buy only from Mac specialists seller Crucial and OWC, not from eBay or a PC shop.

Did you see the comment #4 above? Samsung have been noted not to play well some times.
