Macbook Pro 17" cannibalisation. Is this possible?

I have 2 x 17" Macbook Pros one early 2011 and one mid 2010. I only need one so i was hoping I could take all the best bits to use on one and sell the other. They have slightly different specs.
The early 2011 has Intel Core i7 2.2 Ghz, 8Gb Ram and Intel HD Graphics 3000 512mb. 500Gb SSD
The mid 2010 has Intel Core i5 2.53 Ghz, 4Gb Ram and Intel HD Graphics 288 MB. 500Gb HD
I would like to use the better bits in the 2010 as the case, keyboard etc are in pristine condition.I know I can swap hard drives, memory and battery etc but can I easily swap processors and graphics or if not just swap the complete logic boards or would this cause loads'a problems?

For starters the 2011 memory is faster and will probably not work, however if it does will be at slower speed. usual recommendation is use the correct memory to avoid problems. Go to ifiixit and check out the tear downs for the two different models may help you withn other inquiries. Looks like theb Unibody logic board 2009-2011 may work:-

You were right on with your comments, the more i looked into things the more i realised it wasn't worth the hassle. I have decided to keep the 2011 model and sell the other one. The higher spec was the decider, what's a few scratches between friends?.
