Hi,

I have motherboard that is doing my head in, it just randomly stopped working and when reading the pins the voltage is going 16.5 to 0 back and forth so I must have a short to ground somewhere.

The 3.3v rail is fine
5.5 unknown as does not power on.

I cant get a solid 12v to power on the mobo, I found a few chips getting warm so removed them both for testing but still going 16.5 0.

Any ideas?

anyone got the schem?

Schematics of Apple computers and any service manuals are proprietary and only available to those techs who work for Apple or Apple authorized service centers. You can go to www.ifixit.com and get information on taking it apart and so forth. Maybe someone on their forum can answer your question.
