Hi I have a new macbook pro with the 9400m geforce graphics in and wondering if updates for this are automatic? I ask because I have a regular desktop pc with a gaming nvidia card in and it is my responsibilty to update those drivers when new drivers are released. So, do I need to update my macbook drivers? I assume its an nvidia being a 9400m but when i look at the nvidia website and select the card there are no mac drivers, only windows drivers. So what's the deal then? Is it automatic or not?

Updates are automatic. You don't have to "chase" after drivers as you do in Windows. If there's an update for your graphics card, whether it 's driver related or firmware, automatic updates will notify you.

Regards.
