...Anyone else suffer from this (perhaps rare!) condition? Seriously, I've not had a decent nights kip since I got this thing! Does the novelty ever wear off or am i doomed to have the bags of doom under my eyes forever?

Yours sincerely,

I often stay up late messing with my Mac. Usually it's either ripping, sorting, organizing or web surfing. I'm not sure how much different that would be if I used a PC though...

I'm still stoked that I have a mac, and everyday i'm on it, perhaps too much. I can't wait until I get my macbook with leopard on it next year before I go to college.

Judging by the post numbers of Flic and Mikeyman, I'd say you both have a real addiction and may need professional help ;)

Seek out help at your local Apple store during the next AA (Apple Anonymous) meeting.

I have had my mac for at least 10 years and I still get insomnia when I find something really good to read on it.
The excitement never goes away. lol

Dear Sleepless,

With any luck, it never wears off. ^_^

Me thinks this is the most likely scenario!

At least I'm not the only one with Mac Insomnia, we need to start a support group but I fear that would just make me lose more sleep ;)

I suggest staring at a hypnotizing screen saver and doing a single yoga pose until you fall asleep.
