Mac Pro Monitor Issues

I've been experiencing weird issues with my monitor. First, I would suddenly see a white layer all over the screen. Then, the resolution of the monitor seems to drop, making everything look blurry. Finally, last night, I used my Mac normally, and today the screen doesn't turn on. It seems that the mac is on, but I can't see anything on the screen. Does anyone know what this means? How can I resolve this issue?

Have you tried other monitors with it? If they work with it, it might be that your monitor has died.
