So I got in touch with Apple Support and in the end their suggestion was that I remove Facebook from Internet Accounts and simply use it via a browser.

Oh, and I forgot to mention falk20, you can share photos direct to Facebook from the Photos app (if you use that) by clicking the Share button at the top of the Photos window and selecting Facebook. I dont understand why this works when I cant seem to login to the account in preferences but it does.

Are you positive it is working? Have you confirmed the photos are actually being uploaded onto Facebook?

Also, if Facebook is removed from Internet Accounts, the Share button will no longer work.

I'll keep checking back to these posts. Having all the same problems as mentioned above and have tried most all suggestions to no avail. Wonder how ones contacts Facebook other than the generic HELP

jtaylor251, if the problem becomes widely recognized and enough people report it I suppose that in the long run either Apple or Facebook will become aware of it and something will be done.
I have written a report to the Facebook Community but not one comment or reply yet. If you go to Facebook help and do a search for "I cannot login to Facebook in macOSX High Sierra Internet Accounts Preferences" you might like to press the "I have this problem too button."
