mac is 32 or 64 bit

Hi, i have installed Mac 10.5.4 OS, how can i know whether this is 32 bit or 64 bit. what is the command or way how to know about it is 32 bit or 64 bit

iMac Core i5(3.6 GHz) 8 GB RAM, MBP C2Duo(2.4 GHz) 4 GB RAM, MB C2Duo(2.4 GHz) 2 GB RAM
it depends on what mac you are using. On any core 2 duo, leopard is mostly 64 bit (with the exclusion of the kernel, but that will change in snow leopard). As far as apps go, it depends on the app, but being as its very easy to implement 64 bit in cocoa, most current cocoa apps are either 64 bit or will be soon.

Actually it depends on the Mac. I believe that all Core 2 Duos and better are 64 bit, while Core Duos and Core Solos are not. PowerPC G4s are all 32 bit, while some G5s are 64 bit. I may be wrong about this, but I do know that my Aluminum iMac is 64 bit. Therefore, if you have a 64 bit Mac, the OS will be 64 bit, and if not, it will be 32 bit.
