I'm new to macs and when I download a few different applications, I click on it afterwards and this thing pops up that says, "There is no default application specified to open the document "Document_name.exe", then I have the choice to "choose application" or "cancel". When I try to choose an application to open it with, I never know what to pick and I end up choosing some **** that never works. It's quite irritating. What should I choose? >: [

Most likely .... just make sure the version you download is for Mac ... it can be a little confusing initially.

Roger disco on that^. Try downloading Stuffit Expander. It's a program that opens some windows files. And on a side note, mac files usually end in .dmg.
