I need to set an iCal event for this. I am usually busy and forget about it. Didn't know about it till I stumbled on this thread last weekend.

Think I will be there. Guess I gotta find an IRC app. Haven't used one in a long time. Any suggestions?

Colloquy is my favorite on OSX. I just like the way it works.

Van, I tried Opera a long time ago. It works but more limited in features.

I use Colloquy on OS X, and XChat on windows.. I tried using the IRC client built-in to Opera, and it works with very basic features, which is all what I need, but then it just makes Opera an even bigger resource-hungry pig.

I'm hoping to be on tonight, I don't have anything planned except a night of relaxing with the girlfriend, so I'll probably make an appearance. :)

Thanks for the tip guys. When I clicked the link from the first post to pull up the relevant I discovered I had and IRC client installed (Linkinus). Must have picked it up in one of those software bundles floating around the net.

Think I will give Colloquy a try anyway. Looks like a cleaner (less cluttered) setup. I should be there unless I screw something up in the setup. As I recall I often did that in IRC.

Got Colloquy downloaded what are the settings. I know it is a freenode server correct?
