okay, I can't get in. I give up. I can't find instruction via search and I'm trying to read this whole thread to figure it out. I'm using FF and I downloaded Conversation. When I try to connect it says the serve addy is incorrect. Wah!

Try just irc.freenode.net for the server address with nothing else.

Thanks, I think the OP in this thread needs to be changed to that.

Ignore below, I think I figured it out. I don't know why this is all so hard for me to do. Oh, well!

BTW, what do I do now? I guess I'm in, but I was told my nickname was taken. How do I redo that? And my I see this (attached). Do I ignore everything but the M-F screen?
