I don't have my client installed on this computer.. only my quad.. will be back around that computer in a few weeks when I get back from hawaii.. sorry guys.. i haven't been in there in a while.

I would like to be on IRC, but my PowerBook is still out for repairs, so I am using one of the school's 12" PB loaners for now. And I can't install anything on it, so no IRC app.
Hopefully, I will have mine back tomorrow.

You can't instal anything? or you can't copy anything to the harddrive? or run it off an external hd

Nope, school's rules. All the loaners are loaded with CS2, Macromedia Suite, FCP, DVD Studio Pro...etc. All the software needed for school. We aren't given admin access on the loaners and we have to sign agreements that we won't install/use anyting w/o IT's approval and discretion as to whether or not it is "necessary". Bummer, really. But, at least I am not without a computer. If I had gone through anyone else, I would have never received a loaner. School is good like that. :black:

The only thing I was allowed to copy to this computer was my files for school...assignemnts, research data, homework..etc.
