sry guys, i unexpectidly decided to run down to see my girlfriend..

and now i work 7pm to 7am x3 so i wont be around for a while. but when I do... **** maybe we will release another version of evur in that time... have my people working on it ... while im working

keep on your toes though! it could happen at anytime!

btw, if someone wants to buy a beta server for cheap and test it for us, and be the Mac-Forums temp server, feel free to make it known.

Evur (outdated link removed) may be downloaded and the server is up! Download that beast join up the chat, and let's get the M-F community rolling again! I promise another release as soon as our new iMac G5 is sent, and after I renew my license to software development.

So by all means join up! You shall see me in it and hopefully some other MODs.

thank u very much for getting that open again. i'm not much of a fourm person but since theres only myself and graphite on the chat. i think that the rest of u should get on or we should schedual a weekly "MCC" mac community chat. i also realize that lots of use live internationaly so this is open for disgsution.

Give the Pc version a little bit of time yet... though, im sure I could rite a quick one in a day or 2.. perhaps ill do that. But, mac guys.. YOU HAVE A OPEN CHAT ROOM.. and no one is in it! SO get your ass over to it now!

what is the point of this over an aim chat room?

Not everyone uses AIM. And many of us use Proteus or Adium which doesn't support group chat at this point. Having a room allows it to be open all the time without someone needing to host it as well.

This way, its also pretty clustered. Perhaps more people would join, if you were to join. I can see the logs and you always log off like 5min before someone else joins. That applies to everyone.

so now i demand you all stay in. its just me and mac addikt now.

the more people join the server now, the more motivated i am to continue programming evur

For those who were booted last night:
The internet crashed for me, and the server kicked everyone out. But the chat is back up! so join back in! we had a good 6 in at a time!

I was wondering what happened. I think there really needs to be some kind of disconnect notice for the user since to me, I had no idea I was booted until I just logged out on my own and logged back in. Otherwise I would of thought it was just very quiet lol.

There is a notice. it says "Disconnected from server" in red, even if the server fails.

It happened again today, I must have been disconnected and I know I didn't get a any kind of notice. When I logged out and logged back in, there were different people there than when I logged out 3 seconds earlier.

It's almost like it freezes. But I know I'm not getting any kind of notice telling me I'm disconnected.
