This is some funny stuff i'm reading!

Anyway, i'm not at school right now. My mom is going to look at blackberries today and she wanted me to be there. My brother is home too, I don't know why, I guess he just wanted to miss school.
We might do some fun stuff afterwards, but I have to be back at school around 1:25 because I need to get my assignments and i guess go to health, we're starting sex ed today. HECK YEAH. lol. ;)
Seriously, 9th grade health is the EXACT same thing as 7th grade, I should have been like everyone else and tested out.

Oh, and I have a dilemma. So, this senior at my school requested me on facebook in like January. I've never met him, he was doing a thing with his friend where they request all of the school. I called him on that.
Anyway, unlike the other ones he befriends, I can't be friend with most people, and NOT see what's up with them. So we started talking, for a while.
Got to know him a little better...sorta.
Never met him. Saw him once in the hallway but wasn't sure it was him so I didn't say anything.
He hasn't written on my wall since the beginning of April.
He hasn't been on facebook in general since then, except like once a week to satisfy his girlfriend by writing on her wall.
He invited me to his open house.
I want to meet him, he seems like a pretty interesting person. I go through the guest list, there's all these people who go to my school.....I know a total of 3 of them, the 3 i know I talk to 2 of them. Don't know them very well though.

I'm PAINFULLY shy when it comes to new people, but I want to go. Usually i'll just sit there and observe conversations for a while before I jump in, but i'm usually with someone I know. I'm really scared.
WHY CAN'T I HAVE PEOPLE SKILLS?!!
UGH.

Oh, and yesterday at Meijer, i found a lady's purse in a cart!
Found $100 in the library, and a purse! Weird!
It had EVERYTHING in it too. I gave it to a cashier.
Wouldn't that be horrible to lose your purse!?
It had a wallet/phone/credit cards/cash/social security card and EVERYTHING in it.
That poor woman! I was going to call her by looking through her phone, but it was dead.

And Safari is currently using 319MB of memory.

Now that my water pump is fixed, I will personally DRAG YOU OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE AND FORCE YOU TO GO TO THIS OPEN HOUSE THING AND MEET PEOPLE.

Also, try holding down both shift keys and type THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG as fast as you can.

A good friend of mine just got his brand new Blackbook today (his first Mac). I must say, that is a really nice looking machine - it's the first time I've seen one/used one in person. I do hope they continue to make them in matte black like that, it really does stand out. If they ever get a capable video card and an Expresscard slot, I may even consider buying one to replace this MBP when the time comes.

One thing I like about my new laptop, it has an SD card slot and Express card slot.

Don't remind me. I hate Apple hardware in that way. All computers should have an SD slot these days.

It's a lot better if you actually have a keyboard.

Would be nice if it had a little more memory for some of the more intensive websites.

Oh, and I found out today I love the old 90's Gateway keyboards. Very comfortable, and I hardly make any mistakes.

WOOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!

i successfully swapped the 80GB HD that came in my macbook with a 160GB drive!

it was kind of spur of the moment. last night i found a 160 gig WD external drive for about 100 bucks at target. i picked it up thinking it would basically serve as a backup for the two 80 gig externals i have now. well, i got to thinking and i figured i could swap the drive out of the enclosure and have an internal 160GB drive and three 80 gig externals.

the OS reinstall was a snap, and i just have to reconfigure a few things to be pretty much right back where i was about 2 or 3 hours ago.

the trickiest part so far was figuring out how to get the cheap plastic WD enclosure (screwless) around that new 160GB drive open without destroying it. i did it with a minimum of marring, to the shiny black plastic, and now my original hard drive is sitting in it transferring some data over to the new disk in my macbook. :D

now, to update my profile and think about adding that 2GB of memory ;)

Apparently, the only keyboard you can get the full sentence out with is the IBM Model M.

Still, by far, my favorite keyboard ever.

The only thing I miss from my PC, although this Apple keyboard is nice too.
