How did a PowerBook make it's way to your desk?

The missus' aunt got it from work, and has no clue how to use it.

She's probably gonna wind up selling it to me.

Take your band and just randomly setup outside of Meijer.
It's been done here before.
It was a fun twist on a crappy place.
LOL. Oh wow....

So apparently my friend wants to start a new band. He wants to start a Dave Matthews type band. He asked me to play Saxophone for them. Kinda exciting... except the timing is horrible. I am gone all summer starting June 6. I think we'll try start it, but will have to start it later.

How did a PowerBook make it's way to your desk?

Anyway, I'm looking for a picture of a microwave.
It's a long (weird) story, i won't elaborate.

You are overdue for a post/blog time!

Nah.
I'm too tired.
But I did fill out an application at wal-mart LOL.
So hopefully i'll have some sort of job this summer, but in this state/economy, i'm sure there are many other better qualified people looking for jobs without help.
I mean, I didn't even pass my CPR test (BY ONE FREAKIN QUESTION).
But hey, they are short of cashiers....

Well... got back from my Son's graduation in Chicago yesterday. Cum Laude out of Loyola Chicago. It has been a long time since I've seen my boys, and it has been long overdue.... Also got a chance to meet his girlfriend... smart and very pretty. His next stop is Japan, (JET program). Got a chance to give him a little hard time too... He is looking at getting himself a laptop, and he is considering a Dell based on the recommendations from the folks in the JET program. I believe the concern is the level of support he would receive while in Japan if something went wrong with his machine. His Girlfriend, smart girl that she is, owns a Mac.

My boys have come far and made very good choices early on. I am extremely grateful to our Father above for my blessings... ;-)

Congratulations on your son doing well, WolfsBane!

I just got done finishing all the power-washing of the deck for my aunt. Now later in the week I can get to work re-staining it. I haven't worked this many hours of hard labor outside in a long time.

I'm ready to start my first week of internships this week. I'm hoping to learn a lot from the two that I'm working at; they will also give me a lot of experience to put on my resume for when I graduate next fall!

Well, it's my first full day tomorrow at my new job, wish me luck!

Just relax and go into your new day with an open mind and an eagerness to learn and meet people... everything else will take care of itself... ;D

That IS a nice lookin' little PowerBook sitting on your desk!
So nice and shiny......makes me realize how cool it would be to get access to some $$ to get access to some MODERN TECHNOLOGY!
What's the specs on that thing?
The G4 'Books are still pretty expensive!

I'm still trying to search for a job this summer.
Going well? No.
Obviously i'm not as qualified as the next (million) Joe Schmoes, especially in Michigan (are we still the highest rate of unemployment?), and it's just dreadful.

I need to vacate Michigan as fast as I can to avoid screwing my whole life over.
