Sweet, I just got 2Gb of ram in my MBP. It runs insanely fast compared to the stock 512Mb. It's Crucial memory too, so I know it's a good brand.

So I'm also a little upset, yesterday the guy who was supposed to let me intern for his company called me back and changed his mind?!? Can you even do that? I tried going in there today and talking to him, but he was in a business meeting. I'm getting very tired of trying to find an internship, I can't imagine what it will be like trying to find a job next semester.

Ummm... I thought MLK Jr. day is around January 15th
 (around the anniversary of his birth).

Unless I'm missing something? We have the day off at work, and I could have sworn it already came to pass this year.

My bad. I thought it was weird. It is in January. Today was the anniversary of his death.

Yes! I've had my iPhone about 2 months now. I love it! I sold the iPod Touch to my older brother.

She'll use it only for her iPod and occasional email.

My new desk arrived at my mom's house today.

20" by 40", gorgeous black and chrome. According to my mom, it's 30 years old. Had it refurbished up for me, which was nice of her.

Very retro, and it should go good with the MacBook. I'm a happy panda.

You said it bubba! This week has been long.

This is being typed on the new Dell Vostro. It's so nice. It feels lighter than the MacBook, but it's actually 1.1 pounds heavier.

me and the fam have been sick over the last week, i'm just on the trail end of the flu (sort of a weak stomach flu, but nasty none the less). my wife is right in the middle now, and the older boy gave it to me , so he's done. ;)
the baby spits up and has baby poop anyway so it's hard to tell - he's seemed a bit crankier this week, so he probably not feeling super well.

otherwise everything is good. :D

That sucks that your family is all sick. :(

I'm liking the Vostro a lot. The keyboard is really nice to type on and I can type really quickly on it.

Sorry, I forgot. My apartment is built like a hotel so all of the rooms are around the outside wall so I have no view.

The Sears Tower is 1.5 miles away.

Not worth of it's own thread, but definitely worth posting.

I finally got sick of how the mighty mouse handles on a desktop, and since I'm a sucker for the "Apple" look, and since Apple can't throw teflon runners on there like any other mouse maker in history, I made my own out of pennies and electrical tape.
