Great photos Netty!

Glad your foot is feeling better Leecho!

Good morning. It's nearly 11AM here. I'm starting to do income taxes - federal and state. I'm using H&R Block TaxCut for the Mac for the second year (and I've used it for Windows for many years prior to this). I hate doing taxes, but this is a good program.

Will be checking M-F throughout the day but mostly I'll be offline.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning everyone. I just got home from breakfast/church with the parents. I plan on going and getting some groceries sometime today and then head back up to school tonight. Michael Showalter is speaking at our university tonight so I think I'm going to go and meet him. If you don't know him, he is a comedian and appeared on the show "Stella" when it aired on Comedy Central.

Netty, the pics look great, thanks for sharing!

It's after 1PM, and the taxes for both fed and state have been computed and filed. ^_^

Well my first class got cancelled for the day so it's off to a good start. I'm also going to go to the bar today to eat lunch and watch the Cubs start off opening day.

Hope you have fun today, Netty!

Go Cubbies!!

What do you think of the AT&T commercial with the fake Harry Carry commercials Todd51? I think they are hilarious but I heard his widow is so mad.

Decided to leave the University next semester and take some classes at the local community college for a little bit.

Get me back on my feet.

I'm nervous, but I think it's a good idea.

My mom went out and bought me a really nice desk from the thrift store in anticipation of my living at home next year for college.

Black anodized aluminum with wood accents. It's quite nice.

Now I just have to find a way to declutter it.

Finally got a new car. Its a 2005 Chevy Cobalt LS. Coupe, 5spd, sunroof, its pretty much loaded, and I love it. So happy to have my own car again.

Meijer's screwed up checkout system cost me $33.21 for a can of soup.

Soup = $2.00 no tax

$1.15 cash
$0.93 in checking account

I gave them the $1.15 and said "The rest on my card".

They took my cash and put the WHOLE BILL on my card, causing an overdraft.

A $2.00 can of soup is going to cost me $33.

No. I'm not paying it. I will ask the bank to waive it, if not, I will close my account and they will hear no more from me.

I just got back from being at school for 5 hours at my band concert. No, I didn't play the whole time, but I was part of the first act, the middle, and the last act. So I had to be there the whole time. Was very long and boring! And I almost lost my phone in the snow on the road, until my dad found it. Was scared... time for bed! Good night!

This sounds better:

I will ask the bank to waive it, if not, I will rent a safety-deposit box, place a dead fish in it and move without giving them my new address.

I like the way you think.
