Can you get a no interest CC from Guitar Center or a major CC company and put a new Jazz bass on it and make the minimum payments until he pays you back?

Edit:
N/M

Guitar Center has their credit card with no payments for a year on any purchase of $499 or more.

Strange as it sounds, after all of this, I have even MORE severe gear lust. I really want a shiny new black Jazz Bass.

But I have willpower! I will not get a Guitar Center credit card. I will not get a Guitar Center credit card. but it's soooo pretty I will not get a Guitar Center credit card. I will not get a Guitar Center credit card.

Well, the situation has been resolved, and in a rather abrupt manor.

The band's guitarist just dropped off the bass at my house. Indeed, as I had suspected, the bassist was trying to yoink my bass. Their guitarist figured out what he was up to and decided to be a better man about it. I'm glad to have my bass back, but I am STEAMING at the kid. He can count on a royal beating the next time I run into him.

Talk about a frustrating morning.

Seven hours later, and I'm back in possession. Moral of the story?

Don't loan out anything over $50 in value.

Also, if you plan on leaving a stolen item at your band mate's house, make sure he's not the minister's son.

Good thing you got your bass back, Derek. What a slimy guy that kid is, though. And nice to know that there are still honest people left.

Man, I hate Windows on other peoples computers.

Xp has always been a very good OS on my personal computers. But, I sure hate it when others bring me theirs to fix. The one I've got in the house right now, they couldn't find their restore disk. Took me 2 hours in safe mode to delete enough stuff to get it to the point where I could run it in Normal mode. And of course, AVG won't install properly in Safe Mode.

Having to keep device manager running so I can stop any process &/or popup as soon as it opens. AVG has been running on the thing now for an hour and 34 minutes. Have never had a single virus / trojan / worm on one of my personal machines ... this thing is now up to 467 individual virus and trojan files and climbing - just climbed to 561 while typing this - what a mess....

Derek, so glad you got your Jazz Bass back! Good thing the Guitarist at least was a good honest person.

Nice to see you get your bass back Derek.

I'm still waiting to receive my check from insurance, but am going nuts looking for cars. The hardest part is I can't just choose a car that I like because there is a pretty good chance I won't fit in it.

But based on consumer reports best picks and what I like, I've narrowed it down to about 5 choices. Scion tC, Subaru Impreza, Acura RSX, Nissan Sentra, and Honda Civic. The first two, tC and Impreza are my top choices, and it must be a stick, which makes it tons harder.

So today my mom and I went to the cemetery to visit my aunt for the first time since her funeral. It's been such a beautiful weekend, very warm and sunny. We had some flowers for her, so we sat down and my mom tells me to write a little message on the easter lilies we got her. Up to this point I was totally fine.

At first I didn't know what to write. I wrote:

Hi Tia,
We miss you.
Love,
Rosalia
Annette
and Louie

As soon as I was done I broke down. Such a simple message brought back all the memories, all the heartache. I know, it's selfish, we want her here. But she is in a better place...no pain or suffering, no cancer or doctors...

Hello all. I haven't been here for a while. Got married week before last (how ironic, not many marry in March?! ;) ) When I get my photos I'll post one or two!
...
as i was driving home and listening to mpr (minnesota npr), they started talking about marriage and that not many people get married in march.
a lightbulb went off in my head.
"i got married in march... D'OH! it was today!"
...
i hugged her and said something like "hello my beautiful wife of four years"

she looked back at me and said, "oh no! is that today?"

[below is an almost exact replica of what my face looked like]

That's hilarious! You two sound so cute together.

I'm so glad you got your bass back. He deserves the beating!

Test drove an '04 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V today. Very peppy car. It holds to the road very well. They are gonna get it ready for me tomorrow, and weds afternoon I'm taking it to my mechanic to see what he thinks. '04, with 37000mi. It books for 12.5k, they are asking 11.5k, if I can get it down to 10.5 or 11k, I'll be happy, as long as my mechanic says its good.

Just the fact that they are letting you take it to your mechanic is encouraging. Sounds like a nice car at a good price. Let's hope it holds up under scrutiny.
