I'm off of "work" until the 25th... sort of...

I'm going to school all week next week, so instead of my normal 60 mile drive, I only have a 5 minute drive. After that I have to go in to "work" on the 18th to check out on vacation for a week, but seeing that the 18th is a holiday (President's Day), I'll be there about 10 minutes.

And I filed my taxes on Wednesday... as soon as I get my return my wife gets a new MacBook, and I have to figure out what I'm doing with the other $3,000.

Netty, are any of those plants real, or all plastic? are you going to use any "cleaning" pets, like catfish or snails?


i got my car back from the shop last wednesday after the deer incident. it looks great, though i am still having a bit of an overheating problem. they say they inspected the system, and found nothing out of the ordinary. maybe i just need a good flush and fill or a new thermostat.

All my plants are fake, eric. I'd like to have real plant but I'm still a newbie. I haven't looked into getting a cleaning pet but I'm not sure if they require anything special or will get along with the other fish.

I still have more research to do.

Also, I think I may get an iPhone with my tax return! Yah!

I stayed up with the wife until about 3:00AM... then got up around 11:00AM today. It was nice to not have a bedtime... I haven't had a day off in a LONG time, probably since early December. I went to the gym this afternoon and wore myself out pretty good, now my wife & I are off to my parents house to do laundry and watch the Budweiser Shootout (an all-star type event for NASCAR)... and eat whatever mom is making for dinner.
