Ah, but how are you in 100+ degree heat? ;D

Melbourne is not bad. I've flown in there a couple times. Prefer Vero Beach. But driving from Melbourne to Vero is no fun ~ 35 mph all the way!
100+ would be fine. We get it back in VA, but it's an ugly 100+, usually very humid. I've been in Dallas in the summer, and it beats the snow. :D

I've never been to Vero Beach, just Googled it. Yeah, 35 would be painful. O:) At least Google is somewhat civilized. The route it created was west to I-95 and south, and back east to VB. For a few miles you could go faster, potentially.

Take 100+ any day over this hovering around the freezing mark.
Suppose to get some freezing rain and sleet tomorrow in Dallas.
Then back up close to 70 on Monday.
Be close to 70 on Saturday in S.A.

Oh, and I just got back from the doc today.

He's says I have Electile Dysfunction.

Big day here in Dallas. We have escaped the predicted ice storm. Just a lot of cold rain. Apparently there is lots of ice around the DFW area, but we have been spared here in the Metroplex itself. A good start to my favorite day of the week.

I canNOT imagine what the Giants and Packers felt like playing in a windchill of -24F (or so) last Sunday. I was shivering just watching them.

Ha! I lived in Ohio for ten years and Connecticut five. My last Christmas in Ohio was three years ago... it was -6 (before windchill) with two feet of snow and the snow froze over the chimneys so we couldn't even light a fire in the fireplace! That's very likely my last Christmas in Ohio. ;D

LOL - love it. Yes, those are observations that I've had from time to time.

You know you're in a cold state when there are outlets for engine block heaters in the parking lots. At least that's how it was the last time I was in Bismarck, ND.... :)

NOTHING matches nasal frost. I do not miss the days of digging my car (and tail pipe) out of the snow and letting my car warm up for ten minutes just so the ice can melt off the windshield. :Grimmace:

I used to live in Ottawa Canada, the second coldest national capital in the world. In the winter, we would routinely have -40 C (with wind chill) temperature readings. I couldn't wait to move away. -40 C is cold! I had the axles on my car freeze in place one day. Our apartment building had an external parking garage lighted with flourescent lights. You could judge how cold it was by how dim the lights were. As it got colder and colder, the lights got dimmer and dimmer. Snow literally squeeks when you walk on it in those temperatures. Several people a year die in Ottawa from exposure while waiting outside for a city bus. It is BRUTAL!

It is nice to sit in Texas these days and complain about how cold it is when it hits the freezing point (0 C for those of you who are not Celsius friendly).

I hope you feel better soon eric :)

Mines not serious, Just for the last couple of days I keep feeling like im going to be sick, I haven't been yet (touch wood) but its still a horrible feeling.
Im not that worried though, theres a huge virus going around the UK at the moment causing people to be sick. Many hospitals have had to close wards simply because they are full.

Now... if i find out it was the windows machine that gave it to me...
Just think, if doctors were like Windows... i can imagine it now...

TS: Hey Doc, been like this for a few days, is there anything you can do?

Doc: I guess we could, use Anti-virus shareware edition to help?

TS: Yeh whatever, just lets get it sorted

Doc: Oooh, just need to confirm... are you sure you want to feel better? [Yes/No/Cancel]

TS: Erm well yeh please...

Doc: [Please type your license number in here]

:D
