Display Polishing Cloth in Macbook Air

Am I the only one who thinks that this is odd? If you look at the "Whats In the Box" part of the Apple Store web page for the Air, you will see "display polishing cloth". If you check all of the other Mac portables, you will not see this item.

WHY would they include a display polishing cloth unless you were meant to TOUCH the screen? I can't help wondering if the Air has a touch screen (a la iPhone) that just hasn't been enabled in firmware yet. Hmmm....

Maybe because they don't include anything else and felt the need to throw consumers a bone for your $1800? ;)

Well, today i can officially EAT again!
It would have been nice to stay home and just eat all day,
but normally Wednesday is pizza night,
but due to an appointment 45 minutes in the opposite direction, there was no celebration pizza :(

It's still painful, and really werid to eat since I can only use my front teeth, but oh well. Its better than living off slimfast and yogurt.

Think a PowerBook G3 Screen/motherboard could be crammed (not literally crammed) into a shadow box which is 7/8 inch thick? The tallest thing on the motherboard is the one port in the middle which quite frankly i have no idea what it is, the motherboard isnt 7/8 inches, and the screen can go on top without adding any height because it can go under the ports so the tallest port sticks out more than the screen.
Im just worried about it getting hot in there,
is it a good idea?

The shadow box is $22 which is a GREAT deal compared to over $70 for a 2 inch deep one.

Impressive tender. It really reminds me of something along the lines of Symphony X, and the Trans Orchestra.
Or something that was influenced by some of the more modern works of Nobuo Uetmatsu.

Oh yeah, just bought an iPod nano today. I was thinking of getting the touch, but the thought of having smudged finger prints all over my screen irks me. Thats actually one of my irks... people touching my screen.

I went to listen to TenderSurrender's song but I keep getting stuck in this infinite log in screen. It will ask me to log in. I do and then it asks me to log in again. This isn't the first time it's done this, however normally I can get around it.

Hey Thanks leecho!

Whilst i have listened (and enjoyed) a lot of Symphony X and Trans Sib' I must say that my main influence is definitly Nobuo Uematsu. Not only his new stuff (FF:AC for example) but classic scores such as those found in FFVII

Well M-F, some disappointing things happened last night.
First of all, my EXPENSIVE space heater (my bedroom is in a cold unfinished basement) suddenly made a loud clunk, and it was blowing out COLD air instead of hot, and it started to smell REALLY bad, so I unplugged it ASAP.
Now, it has 3 settings, fan, more fan, and ultra fan.
Irritating! This is my SECOND winter using it, I got it in the summer of 2006! I had a cheapo Holmes brand one which lasted WAY longer than that. My dad still has a REALLY nice metal brown cube shaped one which is from the 80s and it still works! I'm disgusted with Black&Decker. I plan on contacting them but im sure nothing will happen as i have no box/reciept and it has a small dent in it which has been there for a long time.

Thats not the worst part at all-

The HD went bad on my 4th gen iPod.
YOu ask, hey, isn't that the iPod you just got from the forums a week ago wednesday? Yes it is. I only owned it for a week. I didn't do anything to it. Since it had a battery which only lasted like an hour, It just stayed in my bedroom plugged in and I listened to it before I went to bed.
When it happened: I was in bed, and while making the transition from "Come Fly With Me" to "I Did It My Way", it froze right after loading the song on the screen. I've seen that before on HD based iPods no doubt about it, didn't think much of it. Waited a bit, nothing happened. So i pushed the center/menu buttons to reset, and then it booted to the Apple, and a sad iPod face! I then put my ear against the back of the iPod and heard the 'tick tick tick tick' like a clock, coming from my hard drive. :-(
I haven't dropped it or anything. I knew I shoulda stuck with flash.
It was too risky to buy a HD iPod THAT old, do you think so?

It's great. I'm not really a music connoisseur by any means, but it reminds me of a video game soundtrack - and that's a good thing, because I'm big on bands like the Minibosses. Very professionally put together and well done. Thanks for sharing!

Does this mean that Apple will only let you get a cold in front of the Macbook Air? :D
