Happy Friday Ya'll!

I just got back from having lunch with Nick, went and got my nails and eyebrows done after. I don't really like how the lady did my nails :( Oh well...

I'm going ice skating for the first time ever tomorrow! It's going to be Nick, me, his friend Jeff, and his friends g/f Yasmine. Should be fun!

I hope everyone's having a great day!

If you know how to roller skate you should be okay. Just remember that ice skate are faster than roller skates. If you know how to roller blade, then it is easier.

Last time I went ice skating, I wore a brand new pair of Levis. I fell and left a 8 foot blue skid mark, where I had fallen. My jean were white with ice. lol. Have a good time, dress warm. :)

lol Sorry I literally laughed out loud rman! :) Cute story!

Yeah, I know how to roller blade but it's been a few years since I did. We'll see how it goes. :D I'll make sure to take my camera just in case I fall, which most likely I will.

Congrats on finding the iPod, iRye. It seems as though I have lost mine from all the traveling I've done this winter. Man that sucks.

I just got moved back up to college. Our new flooring in the apartment is beautiful and I ended up re-arranging my room because of it. Classes start on Monday, which I'm not looking forward to. Oh well, I have a good feeling that the classes I'm signed up for are easier than the ones I had last semester, so hopefully that means less stress.

Yeah, and it wasn't my cheapo iPod nano (not sure why it says RED, it's a 2nd gen silver iPod nano 4GB). It was the iPod touch. It was under my nightstand :p

Good morning! It's around 9:35AM here. I'm using my officemate's toasty little heater this morning, and it's nice and warm. ^_^ (She offered it, and since she's not here, I thought I'd try it.)

D&D last night was fun, though it was a relatively quiet night. I now have a new wolf companion, Tasha, a 170lb female wolf. (Real wolves aren't usually that large.) For our next game, we're playing at my house. YES! I'll actually host the location for the game, though our regular DM (dungeon master or game master) will run the game. It's not really that big of a deal, or wouldn't be for most folks. For me, it's a big deal. I don't do well socially, and this is a group of people who have never been to our house. I have lots to prepare (without going overboard). I hope they like our home. ^_^

I hope everyone has a fine day today!

I've played D&D a few times and it was madly addictive. I just hate how everybody makes fun of it in movies and on tv shows and no one seems to want to play it around here.

Well? Where are those pictures? We wanna see that new truck of yours... ;D

Post some pics! It looked really nice in the IRC room last week. Same one? And maybe your reaction when you see how much it costs to fill next time now that gas is over $100/barrel.

Man what a night. The guy in the next apartment that I share a wall with has apparently moved his TV to the same corner of where my bed is located. He watched movies until 3am!!! THEN he was watching TV at 9 this morning. Man I am sooo ticked off. I banged on the wall and he just signaled right back. Unfortunately for him I happen to know where all the coaxial cables run to in the apartment complex. Next time this happens I'll just unplug the one for his apartment.

Turns out my University Bookstore was open today when I went to go pick up my textbooks for this spring from the Rental building. I decided to go in and have a look around. Now I'm typing to you from Leopard, it's pretty good so far.

I erased my entire hard drive and just did a fresh install of it. Before the install I wrote down all of the applications I would like to keep, same with widgets and plugins. I also dragged my iTunes, Pictures, Documents, and Movies folders over to the external. Now I'm back up and running like I was on Tiger, only took me about an hour or so!

Hey :)

Although it doesnt sound a lot, they have cut at least 9 or 10 hours. Those hours though are what helped me pay for Uni and transport etc... I guess life sends us these challenges to work through... BRING IT ON :p

9-10 hours in a work week is quite a bit (to me anyway). I hope that things work out for the the best for you T.S.

Funny, rman! Last time I went ice skating I should've worn ear plugs... my inner ears were frozen after 45 minutes.

I used to love going to public skates. it is just amusing watching people try to walk on skates, instead of skating. As a hockey player I would just wiz around them and practice my fundamentals. It gets boring after a while. I love being on the ice though. It comes almost as naturally as walking to me. When I'm older I'm definitely moving to some really cold country and building my own outdoor rink.

I just did a complete erase and install on my MBP. I didn't really have to do it, but I wanted to reorganize everything and figured doing a clean restart would help. I have all my important stuff backed up.
My MBP just feels so much smoother now that everything is all organized.
