I'm sure you know all about that ;)

It's looking ugly here again - light snow a little earlier is degrading into freezing rain. It should be a fun drive home.

What ever happened to global WARMING? (just kidding, not trying to start a debate)

Tell me about it. The roads weren't even that bad out the other day when it snowed and it took me an hour and half to get home. Mind you, I live only 10 miles away from my job.

I can only imagine how many idiots there will be on the drive home tonight.

I used to live in the Colonial Park area - getting there from Paxton St used to take me that long sometimes. I HATE I-83. Now, I live in Lower Swatara (not too far from the Star Barn), and it's just a short trip down 441 which is usually not too awful. I can usually avoid the traffic on the Capital Beltway altogether.

I work in Harrisburg on Walnut St. It is literally a straight shot across the HT Bridge down Rte. 15 for me to go home.
Any other time of day I can make the trip in about 10-15 minutes.
To and from work, it takes at least 45. When it snows or even drizzles a little rain, it takes even longer. This is because the majority of people in Central PA simply don't know how to drive period, let alone during any sort of "weather".

I have never seen people rubberneck the way they do in Harrisburg. I grew up in Lancaster, and while people were equally inept drivers, they usually weren't quite as fascinated by wrecks as people here. I once sat in 30 minutes of traffic on I-83 because someone left the carcass of an old VW Karmann Ghia on a trailer on the side of the road, near the Colonial Park exit.

...and I'm not talking about the result of a car accident, someone just left an old, stripped frame of a car sitting there on the side of the road. People were actually stopping dead, in the middle of the highway to stare at it.

But I digress... I'm sure people in every corner of the country feel the same way about their local driving population. This is just a pet peeve of mine. I'll bet people around here would pay money for admission into a junk yard just to stare at wrecks all day.

Hey everyone what's up? I'm happy to be done for the semester of college except for 3 finals on Monday, then I'm done!

Went out last night bowling with some friends, it was a good time. I have to work for a couple of hours tonight which shouldn't be too bad. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Hey people! How's everyone? Good I hope. I've been a bit m.i.a because of school and work and finals. But I'm doing great! The semester will be over next week and I'll have plenty of time for my online M-F family :)

Well I just got home from work, trying to decide if I want to go out tonight. It's cold and we are getting freezing rain so that makes me want to kinda stay inside. However, none of my roommates are here to keep me company, so that makes me want to go out...I'll probably stay in though.

Bored in the hotel. Go to the lounge or pay 15 dollars for a PPV movie?

Holy cow, I just got a Ticketmaster alert saying the bands Breaking Benjamin, Seether, and 3 Days Grace are going to be playing near me in February. Tickets go on sale in the morning! I've always wanted to see these guys in concert! I've been sending out Facebook messages to anyone I know who might want to see them. The only bad part is that I don't have too many close friends that like that kind of music so I really hope someone responds or else I may never get to see them in concert.

Sorry just had to let someone know about this haha.

Cold ..... we had the highest overnight temp in 10 years last night. 29 degrees Celcius when I got up at 5 a.m. to go to work!!!!! For you in the US I think you double and add 30, so that makes it about 88 degrees !! What a poor nights sleep I had.

I just got home. What a lame party, literally. It was a waste of make-up.

Had a lovely time in the lounge, and it was cheaper than a movie. Two cups of fancy coffee for free. It was good. Sat with my laptop there. Wonderful :)

So, that party I went to with Nick was really weird. His ex girlfriend was there. I have to admit I'm a little mad. They're still good friends but I am not used to these kinds of things. I'm sort of a jealous girl I guess.
