Hi folks! Thanks!!! ^_^
This has been an interesting week. Earlier in the week I made a podcast. It's amazing how easy they are to make with Garage Band, assuming of course that you have content. It's not ready for prime time, but it came out pretty well nonetheless.
Last night I saw a spy. It was a presentation by John Sullivan, author of the book "Gatekeeper". He was a polygrapher at the CIA for 31 years. He was at a local library and spoke for two hours. He's an interesting guy, and his talk was very good. He was on the October "spycast" at the International Spy Museum.
At this moment I'm between tasks, shaking off the first and about to start the next. I've spent a fair amount of the afternoon looking at text books and other materials on Kalman filters for aircraft tracking. It's pretty neat actually.
Tonight is my Dungeons and Dragons night. It should be fun. I need to fight some monsters. It's good for the spirit! ^_^
Tomorrow is the kiddo's birthday. She'll be 9. She was a preemie. When she was born, the palm of her hand was the size of my thumbnail. She was born seven weeks early and spent eight weeks in the NICU. Mom was in the hospital for a month, herself in the ICU for a couple days. Both are fine today. Never wish your life away. Every moment counts.
