Glad to see you back around kman445 :D

Arrg just tried to boot up my windows box as it also doubles up as my TV. Well, over 2 hours of trouble shooting hasnt allowed me to get this thing to work.

Its now decided it REALLY wants to try and get into a recovery suite, but once in, decides it would prefer to suddenly die.
Theory: HDD or something related has given up.
Soloution: Buy a mac mini

Not sure how long it wil be seeing as i have no money at the moment, but its definitly something im considering now!

Hi TS! It was a good weekend. Weather was fine, saw lots of interesting things from colonial times, and enjoyed the weekend overall. I wasn't really into a travel weekend like that (~160mi/260km) as the week had been tedious, but it turned out fine.

Hope everyone is well!

Hey everyone, I just got back from my night class. Tonight the time seemed to DRAAAAG by unlike most nights, but thankfully it's over with now. I think I'll be going to bed here shortly, I've been so tired lately.

TS, I have one photo here:

http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=521940&postcount=11

I need to make some time to put together a photo page. In the past that meant, "...but it takes too long with Linux and Windows, so it will never happen." Now however on the Mac that means, "...so I know I'll get to it in the not-too-distant future." ^_^

Nice shot mathogre! I like it a lot.

Which Sony point 'n shoot are you using? I am looking at buying one and am zeroing in on the W50 - supports an ISO 80 low noise mode which is really appealing to me ... although the price tag isn't! :D

Hi mac57! Thanks!!!!!

Mine's a Sony Cybershot DSC-T5 that my wife bought a year or two ago based on the quality of images from a friend's model. It's not the best, but it's quite good and serves us pretty well. (It can connect to either the MacBook or the Dell, which is a Good Thing. ^_^)
