Very nice Ryan13! You can watch some of those tighten up though with increased interations. For instance, the first image is done with 170 iterations per point, while the second is done at a million. Increasing the number of iterations helps to show where the function for a given point actually diverges.

Naw, if it were me, there would be hair covering half my face, and i'd be in a blue nike T-Shirt. You'd also see an iMac.

Hey everyone, hope you all are doing well. It's been a few days since I've posted so I figured I would take a break from writing a research paper to catch you all up.

I finally got a chance to sit down with the girl and tell her everything. She basically has to choose whether or not she wants a relationship. Since our talk we've been hanging out almost every night, watching movies and listening to music. So I guess it's going good that I'm getting to see more of her this week, which is what I wanted.

As for school, I'm getting a lot done this week since I won't be at class at ALL next week. I'll be out of town on a trip to Florida. A lot of my homework due next week has been pushed back so thankfully its not all piling up on me. The paper I'm writing right now is due on Friday, and I think I'll easily be able to get it done. :) It's a perfect day for laying on the couch typing a paper for my class. Right now it's overcast and rainy, which most people hate those types of days, but I on the other hand, simply love them! :) They give me a relaxed and calm feeling, even if I'm having a stressed out day.

I'm also considering pre-ordering Leopard. I don't have all the funds for it so I may wait till the bank account increases in size a little bit more. Plus, that might be more time for some of the bugs to get worked out of it. I'm also going to go out and buy the new Jimmy Eat World cd that came out yesterday. I'll admit that I downloaded it off the internet this past weekend, but that was only to preview it. I usually always buy the cd of a band I really like.

Well I guess it's time to get back to my paper. I promised my roommates that I would have another 3 pages done by the time they get home from class at 5 so that we could go out tonight and have a few drinks. Have a good hump day everyone!

Greetings, all! At 588 pages, I gotta admit...I jumped to the end. This seems like a great idea, this B&G, and I would love to have a friendly place to stop and chat from day to day...but has anyone thought of making a daily rambler each day, as opposed to just one topic that goes on and on? There's probably a reason not to do it, but it would certainly be easier to just pop in on any given day and go straight to the XX/XX/XXXX rambler.

Cheers!

Hey boswellian@mac.!

Apart from Fallooza's Shoutbox, I don't know of anything that would fit your description.

But you don't have to read from the beginning, you can fit right in here!

I sure haven't read the thread from the beginning anyhow! It would probably take 3 months to read it! :D

Thanks! I guess you're right. By the way, it's still me, but I decided the issue I had when creating my user name had to be fixed, so I created a new account without the @mac bit.

That's not the way to do it. There is a forum rule against creating more than one user account in M-F.

Contact schweb via PM and he'll change your username instead of doing this.

Edited to add:

You can send a PM to schweb here.

Well, the old account is gone...at least as far as I'm concerned. I saw no way to do it otherwise. I used a new e-mail account, etc. It would nice if I could simply delete the old one.

The cheesiest song in the world brought me out of a several-week funk a few years ago: Steve Windwood's "The Finer Things." No kidding...it came on the radio while I was getting ready for school (okay, SEVERAL years ago), and somehow I forgot about all the crap that had been weighing on me...no e-meter needed!

Good afternoon everyone! I am having a WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL day! I have been stressing about an exam grade for over a week because I thought I choked on it (my mind completely froze when I took it) but today I found out that I got a B, so that's good. Then, I found out that the phone I won a few weeks ago finally arrived. Then, I got a quiz back that I kind of winged it on (because I had an A in the class and didn't care how I did) and I got a 100% somehow. So, today is great. This semester is great. Today made me feel like I've finally struck a groove and could possibly get straight A's for the semester. Absolutely great. Hope everyone is having a good day as well.
