Good morning! It's 8:40AM here, and it's feeling like the beginnings of autumn.

Folks have lots of good news I see. todd51, a 95% on a physics test.

How cool is that?! No need for a calorimetry experiment to quantify. -_^

Netty, it sounds as if you're doing fine! I'm happy for you.

Tonight is Dungeons and Dragons. The books are in the car. I packed two meals this morning - lunch and dinner - as I won't stop at home between work and the game. I felt a little like Hermione Granger last night, studying spells for tonight. My character is a male human druid, a spellcaster who must choose a half dozen spells each day from a group of probably 60 spells. Choice *is* important.

Sunday night is the astonomy club meeting, so I won't be on IRC. The meeting goes from 7PM until after 9PM.

Hope everyone has a good day. Enjoy the weekend!!!!!

mathogre, have fun playing D&D tonight!

Well I just woke up about half an hour ago. It felt good to sleep in that late. It's about 60 degrees outside, so it's really nice out. I'm going to shower, and then I have a haircut at 1:30, which is on my way home to my parents house. Maybe I'll burn a good cd for the drive. :)

I love sundays for exactly that reason. It the only day I get to sleep in. Its really cold here. Was about 45 this morning when I woke up, and its still hanging low, its up to 47 now.

'Tis the season where the Arizonans get their reward for surviving the "broiler pan" (as my man calls it). It's a lovely 84°F today.

Say, Bobtomay won MotM and they closed the thread and gave him the badge without us being able to celebrate? (Unless I missed a thread someplace.)

CONGRATULATIONS, Bobtomay!

I played with an iPhone today.

Three words.

OH MY GOD.

That is the best phone. Ever. Slide to unlock is incredibly amusing.

Yes indeed, Congrats Bob! You'll be a great MotM!!!!!!!!!

Any of the six members in the poll would have been fine choices for MotM. ^_^

It's funny. I've been on lots of forums (none of the others Mac related), but this one - MF - is the best. That's because of the people. Sure, the theme is interesting, but having been on other forums with "interesting" themes, it's still the members who make or break the forum.

Going to have dinner and a movie with Nick tonight. It should be fun, we're going to see We Own The Night with Joaquin Phoenix. I love Joaquin Phoenix. He's so hot. And Nick likes Eva Mendes (whose also in the movie) so we figured we might as well watch it together. :D
