So I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I know I am. I layed in bed this morning till around 11am since it was nice and cool in my room. I left the window open all night and it got down to the 50s so it felt good waking up this morning. Shot the rifle this afternoon with my dad, and it shoots like a dream.

So far the Cubs have been winning agains the Cardinals (knock on wood) and hopefully they will continue to do so. I'm also going to see 3:10 to Yuma tonight with my dad. I heard it was pretty good.

Well, the Cubbies won two games in the series so that's all that matters. I'd say the Cards are basically out of the race now. It doesn't bother me much that the Cubs lost the second game of the double-header, they can still take 3 out of 4 if they win tomorrow. But splitting the series was the big thing.

On a different note...

I found this awesome pic on another website, I think we should use it whenever a thread like THIS shows up on the forum.

Haha, nice pic TC99. Yea I didn't really mind the Cubs losing tonight either. I hope they win tomorrow though, I'm still pretty nervous with the Brewers only 1 game behind.

The movie was a very good one. If your a fan of Westerns, I would suggest giving it a watch either now or when it comes out on DVD. I believe I'm going to head to bed now, I gotta go to church in the morning, then I'll be hanging out a bit more and heading back up to school...blegh..G'Night everyone!

The Brew Crew have a tougher schedule than us from here on out, so I feel good about our chances at taking the divison.

Well everyone, I know you are just DYING to know how my old PC upgrade went yesterday, right?

Well, I am glad to report that all went well. It *was* fun iKitten, if you enjoy this sort of stuff (and I do). I wish I could earn a decent living building custom PCs for people, but that market is rather saturated!!

The new 160 GB drive is up and running, the new CPU has almost doubled the performance, the new IDE controller is working well... and I even managed to transfer my entire Linux install on the machine from the old drive to the new drive. A very productive, if very geeky, day. This post is coming to you from this very upgraded machine.

Are there forum rules against posting to a Mac forum from a Windows machine? There is something at least morally wrong about this. Time to reboot my Mac!!

Glad everything went smoothly for you mac57! Sounds like it was a productive day.

I went shooting again with my dad, but unfortunately the POS windows machine my parent's had didn't recognize the xD card from the digital camera. Then dad just kind of pulled it out, and now the camera is making him format the card. Some really nice pictures...now wasted. He even took a video of me shooting my .357. Too bad I can't post any of it.

But the Canes had a nice comeback win against the caps with michael leighton their third string goalie doing real well, and Eric Staal did well too.
