I am not really doing anything this weekend. Apple is opening a new store near by so I might swing by there early Saturday for the free t-shirt and for a look at the new iPods. 80GB would be sweet but I got the iPhone to eliminate carrying around and iPod and a phone. I don't know if I could go back to that smaller screen either.

I'm almost done with homework for tonight. I've been working for about 8 hours now straight on an online math assignment, a paper math assignment, an online math quiz, and a intermediate macroeconomics paper assignment. I'm so close, 2 more questions to go and I can call this long headache of a day over. Tomorrow is another story. I have a class at 8, then one at 9:30, then another at noon, and finally a math exam at 5. If I can just make it through to 6 o'clock PM tomorrow, I'm gonna redefine happy hour.

I will be away for a week starting tonight. I'll have limited net access by choice, though I'll have my iPhone to check email. While I can access the forum on the iPhone, realistically it's a bit tedious. You folks have fun and play nice!

Today I've got lots of work, which should make the day move fairly quickly. It's a mostly sunny day here, though it was cool enough to run heat in the car on the way to the office. Autumn will be here presently.

Now I'm off to check a thread or two while contemplating a solution to a problem (re: challenge) I just found.

Indeed it will be a vacation. I can't wait. I'm here for roughly another 4 1/2 hours, and have much to do before leaving. Yet there will be a distinct Ka-Thunk as I leave the building at 5PM today. We're taking a trip to Walt Disney World and Kennedy Space Center in Florida. I haven't felt a great need for a vacation, but now that it's almost time to go, I can't wait.

Finished. Earlier this morning I posted I'd found a problem or challenge with some of my work. It turned out to be a fairly prickly problem in that the solution wasn't obvious but would likely involve some tedious and twisted code. A few posts at M-F to keep me from solving it quickly and poorly, lots of tea, and a modicum of code later and the problem is solved.

The fun and real work is done, and now I need to do all of the normal administrative work that I pushed to the end of the day - business email, et al.
