The high school I attend (Lowell High School) has this football team, the Lowell Red Arrows.
We were ranked number one in the country.
It was in USA Today.

This was months ago, but for some reason I'm just finding out.
I don't think we are anymore since we lost our last playoff game, but it's still pretty cool thing to happen to a small little town.
We also did our Pink Arrow project back in September and raised $70,000 for cancer. That was amazing.

I love my school.

I'm going to assume it's Canadian geese too. Why don't they have goose season on those buggers in the US? There are SO many of them and they don't do anything but poop all over the place!

I, for one, would like to see it become legal to hunt them.

I'm having one of those "I should reinstall my OS" days today.

I keep contemplating it, but, ultimately, it will slow me down because I'll have to reinstall all my software and rebuild my preference files and it's just one big mess.




But it seems like such a good idea.

I live in Detroit, so the last time I cared about football was when the Super Bowl was held here.

Well, last year the Giants won, and I was always a fan of their logo.

i'm in the same boat. boring high-school games played by overpaid, overvalued "heros" and "role-models" that rarely fit those definitions.

Pretty much the same sentiment. It's particularly sad when my wife has to explain to me what's going on in the game, because it makes no sense and/or is not particularly interesting to me. People arguing over calls and such... <yawn>.

I am a fan of hockey though.

Especially amateur league hockey, because the fights turn into brawls rather quickly.
