Ouch, that's pretty expensive. I'm assuming you went to a stealership and they gave you that quote? Yeah, save your money and do it yourself. :D

I'm finally on break and all I can say is wow, this forum has changed a bit since I last posted. I haven't been on in quite some time mainly because this semester at Northern Illinois University contained a gratuitous amount of stress between writing newspaper columns, going to class, and work (not to mention the shooting). I was able to juggle the work and get a 3.2 GPA, write nearly 10 columns, and put up pretty good sales numbers. But now, phew, I'm glad it's over and I think I'll be hanging around here more again.

Maybe it's time to change my avatar since HD DVD died while I was away.

Alas, I am leaving Mac-Forums. I have enjoyed my time here with some of you and will miss you. But it is time to move on to bigger and better things. I will not say why I am leaving to prevent problems. I will check my private messages for the next week. I wish you all the best.

Welcome back, TC99! I was wondering where you'd gotten to.

I'm between Dayton and Cincinnati, west of I-75. Probably a 10 hour trip. :Grimmace:

I made a post a few months back concerning a job interview near the Ft Wayne, IN area and apartment lease breaking. Well, I never heard from them again so that's a done deal and I don't have to worry about early lease termination. However something new came up a while back. A couple at our church rents a couple homes to other people. One is currently available and is being fixed up for new tenants. We hadn't looked at it yet, but that should happen soon, like this weekend or by next. 3 BR, 1.5 baths bi-level with the BRs and full bath on the upper level and everything else on the lower "main" level. Fenced-in backyard, back patio, 2 car attached garage. We're real excited about finally getting a house and leaving our crap-awful apartment. Hopefully we can get the rent within our budget.

WOO!! It's raining after a 33 day heat wave here in central Texas! This means I don't have to stain the fence today while it's 100 degrees out! I'm so happy. :)

Now I actually have the Saturday to sit around and do whatever I want. I'm thinking of installing Boot Camp and Windows XP on a 15GB partition of my hard drive. I've really been itching to play some Half-Life! :)

Such a busy summer already... Just got back today and tomorrow I'm leaving for another week for a mission trip in Chicago. After that back to camp for me for the rest of the summer! Hope you are all enjoying your summer, and have more time than me. It is getting very windy outside... I should shut my windows.
