The surf varies. Some days it's great some days it's flat. Still nice though

On a side note : 1000 post! So worth the neg rep!

Well... I'm at camp and extremely busy. I basically have no time to do anything other than check the mail on my computer. So, this whole summer I may only chime in once or twice. I'll just stop in to read it, but that may be rare too. You won't see me around much until next fall, everyone have an awesome summer! See ya.

I just slept for 12 hours. I feel so freaking amazing.

Got paid yesterday, and it ended up I had like $100 more in my bank account than I thought I did. ^_^

So, I went to the Apple Store (durr), picked up Apple Care ($183 bucks flat!), an iSkin keyboard protector (Which I don't care for, :/), and then to MicroCenter to get an iPod replacement battery, some canned air, and some new headphones (^_^).

Then me and the missus went to see "You Don't Mess With the Zohan", which was alright. Had a few funny moments, but was kinda "meh" as a movie.

Then, came home, and PASSED OUT.

I feel rejuvinated.

Just thinking about my TAFE exams and what a friend told me. Rather freaky.

Ah, I love twelve hours of sleep. Of course it means I sleep 'til 12 or 1 PM, but it's worth it. :) Hope that iPod battery lasts you a long time!

Hey guys, I'm definitely setting my sights on getting a Mac Pro by the end of August, since I got a pretty hefty raise at work (thats two in a year and a half O:) )
I was thinking about getting the 4 core instead of the 8 core, and save myself 500 or so bucks to spend on ram and harddrive space.
Anyone think this is a good investment? Or should I just dish out the extra 500 and get 8 cores of power?

depends how much power you need and what kind of work you will be doing on it. from my understanding very few programs are even able to use all 8 cores. either way a new mac pro will be very fast and you should be very happy with it.

Exactly, most software is not even multi-processor aware, let alone able to take advantage of 8 of them. Save yourself the cash and go with the quad core, you likely won't notice much, if any, difference.

UGH! This PowerMac is being SOOOO SLOW!
Today I learned I CANNOT import photos AND load this bar and grill at the same time. Everything keeps freezing for like 5 minutes at a time, while it still says importing.

Anyway,
there are some AMAZING storms!
I've been outside with my camera for the past hour and a half.
Most of the pictures suck, i have some AMAZING videos, I think I actually got some lightning in a picture like 3 times, one I think there was me in it and some lightning.

Might put some up later.
Maybe i'll work with storms/severe weather when I "grow up"....

Okay, I need to buy a surge protector ASAP.
I completely forgot that the other one I had fried so i'd been without.
My moms fried too, so has my dads. My brothers probably never had one.
I told my dad he should get a couple. I plan on buying my own, because it seems I pay for everything myself, while my dad buys stuff for my brothers. (I payed for both my macs, my brothers got theirs bought for them...)
BUT, he doesn't want to, because his philosophy is
"Well, the surge protectors go for $20-30, and I could get a new modem for like $15, so why bother?"

I'm sitting there like "Uh, are you kidding..."
Power supplies AND a modem would outweigh the cost of a surge protector, come on....it's just a good thing to have....

Just tell him $20 for surge protector, or $1500 for a new computer, your choice.

He'd never go for that lol.
But, if we had some freak storm (Like tonights) and for some reason ALL the computers were completely TOTALED, he'd probably buy himself a new computer, maybe my mom, and probably nobody else.

I think he knows I would find a will and a way to get myself one, then right after I do that he'd buy my brothers new computers too.

Anyway,
I REALLY MISS BEING ABLE TO BREATHE NORMALLY!
IT'S SOOO ANNOYING!
I like breathing deeply, but now it's a bit painful!
UGH!

I've been trying to bug my mom into getting me to a doctor, I haven't been in YEARS, but I feel bad whenever I say something because she gets annoyed. I don't think she's taking me seriously.
What if it's nothing?
I mean, like allergies or something?
It's not that bad until I realize it, like when i'm distracted it's fine.
It's just SO ANNOYING!It really dries my throat out too. When I inhale through my mouth, it sort of sounds like a puppy on a hot day. lol. Weird, but true. It REALLY annoys me, keeps me from sleeping! And I keep doing it too, and eventually it hurts my chest. It sort of feels like there is like an air bubble in my throat. I DON'T KNOW. Ugh! I'll bug my mom over and over tomorrow.

While i'm talking about random things that are bothering me, i'll get some other things off of my chest (haha, get it, because of the breathing thing...) that I don't feel like keeping in my head.

1) Our house is in foreclosure again. It's like 6 thousand some odd dollars by the 19th. If it ever happens, it'll be DEVASTATING. I've been here for 10 years. I've lived some of the happiest, and saddest times of my life. It's my only home i've known. I've gotten through some of my toughest days here. It's made me who I am today, which I am thankful for. My parents could be splitting up again and if we have to leave, and my parents split, it's going to be so much more complicated. Then again, there could be worse things than losing a house. If we ever have to leave, i'm sure it will make me stronger in the end because of it.

2) A family friend had a heart attack at my aunts house. She's an amazing lady, I don't know if she's okay or not, but I assume she is because everything was normal today, I mean nobody told me anything except my brother told me she had a heart attack.

Wes Craven really knows how to make a great horror flick.
Too bad there hasn't been any new ones lately...

There's a certian four letter word that I can't say on here that starts with F which should come before the phrase "Michigan's economy".

If it did happen, odds are the banks would sell the house fairly cheap, so you could feasibly buy it back for less than you owe.

My friend's parents lost their house, turned around, and bought it back for $8,000, a whopping $67,000 less than they had left to pay off.

Sometimes, foreclosures work out like that.

Regardless, here's hoping you don't have to go through that at all.

And if it does, there are TONS of houses in the Center Line area for sale dirt cheap. We could be neighbors.
