Yeah, that's a pretty nice looking area.

Let us know how the circus went. *cough* We need your money... *cough*

Haha, well I think I have given a nice little "donation" in a way ;) I bought some american products from a shop in London online that gets them shipped over then distributes over here. Got some Twinkies, Pink Snoballs, taffy, big reds, and more... oh wait a sec think I have a picture...

They are all quite a novelty over here but i'm sure you are all quite sick of seeing them ;)

I can if you want, but they may not be the best by the time you get here or by the time they get to you in the post ;)

Do you get Vegemite imported into the UK? I know that's an Australian product. But I'm just curious.

Well it's Grand National in the UK today at 4:15pm GMT. I'm not much of a betting man but I do get involved with this every year.
For those that don't know the Grand National comes around one day a year, it's a horse race with around 40 horses running and it really is anybody's race. Everyone and anyone gets involved with it.
Wondering which horse to back (bearing in mind it's not unusual for a 100-1 horse to win).
Many people back a horse that either has a funny name, has a name similar to a family member or knows someone who has some connection to the horse or just goes for a lucky dip in a way.
Here's the runners... who would you pick?

You don't get it cause you're not Aussie. And I don't blame you. I don't get the fuss over twinkies or chocolate covered pretzels. But I'm not from the US.

If I was in the UK (or some place that is not Australia) I'd bring some (Vegemite) with me or make sure it can be ordered in. That and weet-bix.

Weetbix, Vegemite and a good cuppa (tea that is). Probably the 3 staple Aussie foods.

Big Fella Thanks
That horse must be well endowed. And is not shy around the other horses. He's in thanks for his "big fella". So go for him. I would.

Had to get this in here, i'm a religious listener of the CNET UK Podcast, it can be very funny at times, you can ask questions on their facebook page. I managed to get myself on the podcast once before, and have just managed to get myself on this weeks podcast too, very proud of myself :)
Made a small clip of it and posted it on my facebook.

I'd put $10 on each of the 11 horses that are 66/1 up to 150/1 odds.

Our country... yes Mr Cameron, lets stop paying the armed forces, and sell all our planes and ships. Harriers aren't being updated for 10 years?

I wish i could have voted, i cant stand this PM/his little buddy Clegg that just sits around being a hypocrite.

"By voting liberal Democrats, we will abolish Student fees!"

1 month later:

"Oh wait no, actually we will triple them."

I know times are hard, but I really have a lot of anger on this one!

I was really holding out for a plane or jet to put on the edge of my cliff, though.

They have a few of those too :p

I know what your saying, I personally don't have any student loans, but my other-half's younger brother is at Uni, he started just before they got into Parliament!
