I wish I had cable so I could watch the Beeb again. I'd love to watch that show. I miss Top Gear more though.

I love BBC, but we only get BBC America and doesn't really air anything new. I do appreciate the BBC news, but even then, I "think" it's edited for an Amercian audience, which I don't care for. I'd like to see the news in its orginal as aired in the UK.

Well in Australia we get Top Gear UK and Top Gear Australia. The Aussie one is not as good at the UK one but still.

And yeah I dunno about Matt Smith as the doctor. I still have not warmed to him. I really liked Tennant's last season with that offsider lady. Maybe Matt Smith will grow on me given time.

The UK topgear team made an episode with the Aussie team over here, dunno if you saw it. They made the aussies a car with upside down seats so they would feel more at home ;) hehe

The last series was great but my favourite moment is easily the one when Clarkson drives the Reliant Robin (series 15). I laughed so hard when I watched that. Can't wait until June when the next series comes!

I might give Top Gear a go. I mean, there is only like... seasons 2-15 on Netflix streaming, right now. Wow! lol I'm not a car person, but I love watching these kind of shows.

I'm trying to remember another show that would send teams out into a junk yard to build contraptions/inventions that completed a predetermined objective. They even did a flying machine once. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I think it was a UK TV series, can't even remember that.

That my dear friend would be called "Scrapheap Challenge", I appeared in it once. Not as a team just in the "about the team" segment, the team was called the Bakewell Puddings, you just glimpse me in the background in one of the shots :D

I'm not really all that much into cars either - I'm more interested in their challenges. Some of them are just ridiculous.

Yes, that's what it was! I actually know the show as Junkyard Wars. Wikipedia explains the different details better. There were UK and US versions named Junkyard Wars. I think the UK versions were better, though.

@Buzzard2010 Tell me us more about the episode you were in.

Wikipedia describes Scrapheap Challenge as:

Science
Technology
Engineering
Gameshow

Everything I love.

Top Gear can give you three of those. That said, the challenges are kind of like games. ;)

Went for a walk today around the park next to the river just 2 minutes walk from my house. And what did I see? Looks like you yanks are invading the UK from the middle-out!!!! Nah only joking ;) the "American Circus" is in town, intriguing may just have to see how "american" it is ;D

Thankyou very much :) the weather here is starting to get better. It was about 18 centigrade today, the warmest day of the year so far for us. I think that works to 65 fahrenheit.
Certainly was nice, I seemed to book the right week off work that's for sure :D
