Yeah, cause this was one of the devices that I was really on the fence about, when it come to buying Applecare. Glad I don't have to regret it this soon. :)

We have a cool front rolling in tonight.

It's only going to be 99 tomorrow instead of 105.

You crazy Canucks and your metric system. We like to call that 'room temperature' around here. As a matter of fact, my house is 72 degrees FARENHEIT year 'round.

72°? How can you manage with such unbearable heat? Oh wait, not using the metric system...gotcha. ;)

Went and played golf today so I suppose I should be thankful that it wasn't in the high 30s/low 40s like it's been lately (95° - 110° for those of you stuck on the imperial system :p).

Oh yeah, 36 inches to a yard, 1,760 yards to a mile, 212° for the boiling point and 32° for the freezing point of water are much easier to remember than 100 cm to a metre, 1000 m to a km, 100° for the boiling point of water and 0° for the freezing point of water. I'll be switching right away :p.

Hey, when every country uses the metric system except for the USA, Myanmar and Liberia (UK is iffy afaik), I'd say there is no need to be defensive. Source. ;)

lol, I honestly don't care which system anyone uses. As long as there are converters, I'm happy. I just like razzing people.

Its is soooooo much easier to remember 1000m to a Km and so on. Just be greatful we dont use and see Whitworth Spanners to undo Whitworth nuts and bolts anymore.

Now that is where the confusion starts for me lol ;P

Cheers

Van, you need a Linux Avatar! :D

I have been brought up all my life with the american system of measurements so when I see the metric system is still confuses me. It's really hard for me to forget so many years of the system we use here.
