mac cd-rom software

I would like to view a cd-rom data disk on the Mac OS X.
Is there particular Mac software that works for this application?

You should be able to just pop the disc in your drive. An icon should appear on your desktop, representing the disc. Double-click on it and you should see the content of the disc.

Need abit more info in to what type of disk / application you are talking about

the mac will read any type of data disk, but will only run Mac applications on them, unlesswindows support is installed

I've figured it out. This cd-rom was from a university library that needed a library card number and password in order to open and view it. Thanks for the support.
