Lost my original discs

Okay, So I got my mac a long time ago its a MacBook 1.1 and so I have 10.5 os on it, Now I need to fix the disk and I dont have the cd that my mac came with.. Now if I get a mac 10.5 iso torrent and burn it to a disk could I fix it with that?

Is there any way?

Discussing illegally downloaded versions of Mac OSX is against the forum rules. You either need the original disks that came with your Macbook or buy new ones. Besides, downloading a torrent version is a good way to muck up your computer.

Call Apple and ask about a set of replacement discs. We have had a great many members report anything from free to $20 over the last year.

Or, as McYucon links to, the Snow Leopard disc is cheap enough. If you need it still cheaper - Amazon.

But yep, as others have pointed out, no discussions of pirating or the use of pirated software here.
