I'm thinking about getting my father (who lives on opposite coast) a Mac for xmas so that we can use isights to chat back and forth with. I had tried getting him a ibot for his pc and it just isn't anywhere near as good as the ichat function.

so, I'm looking just to get him a referb'ed mac, preferably a laptop. It doesn't have to be a suped up g4. (i was using my g4 500mhz with ichat just fine... so...)

If anyone has any suggestions BESIDES ebay, I'd love to hear about them.

my powerbook g4 titanium is a refurb from apple website...not a problem with it yet

cant wait to buy another mac (either refurb or new)
